Mariana is originally from Aibonito, Puerto Rico. She started her flamenco journey at 13 years old under Antonio Santaella with whom she studied for more than 15 years and also joined his dance company, Mosaico Almudéjar. She also studied with well known artists and teachers. She currently lives in Colorado and continues to learn and perform under Maria Vazquez and and travels to perform with Benito Garcia and his company in Japan.
