Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Lafayette Music Fest?
Well, it’s an awesome event, happening October 7th, 2023! One wristband gets you in to five of the hippest venues in Lafayette, Colorado!
How do I purchase a ticket?
Easy! Just scroll back up and snag one!
How do I get my wristband?
Each ticket will be exchanged for a wristband when presented at one of the five ticketed venues or the free stages at The District of the Fest. One wristband will be provided per ticket. Wristbands will be accepted at The End Lafayette, The Arts Hub, Muse Performance Space, and Tier Two Live for all ages. Attendees for acts at Nissi’s must be over 21 and each member of your party will be asked for identification validating this.
Am I guaranteed to get into each venue?
Attendance at each venue is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and a wristband does not guarantee your entry if capacity limits at a venue are of concern. If one venue has reached capacity, we invite you to take part in the other venues simultaneously presenting artists.
Are there any age restrictions?
Four of the five wristband venues are all ages: The End Lafayette, Lafayette Arts HUB, Muse Performance Space, and Tier Two Live. The fifth venue, Nissi’s, is a 21+ venue and age verification will be required upon entry. The free stages at The District are all-ages. All attendees will be required to purchase wristbands. All wristband holders under 16 must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.
How do I get to the event?
We encourage our event attendees to travel as much as possible using alternate modes of transportation. The main Lafayette Park N Ride is located at the northeast corner of the venues and is serviced by the LD (Longmont/Denver), Dash (Boulder/South Boulder Road), Jump (Boulder/Arapahoe), and 225 (Boulder/Baseline) busses. Limited parking will be available at each venue along with additional parking lots in the area.
What can I bring to the event?
- Standard Backpacks (All bags will be subject to search at the entrance of each stage)
- Purses/Handbags
- Fanny packs/hip bags
- Empty water bottles (plastic, reusable)
- Cameras (Non-pro digital and film, no flashes)
- GoPros
- Chapstick and lip balm
- Sunscreen
What’s NOT allowed at the event?
- Air Horns
- Aerosol Products
- Audio Recording Devices
- Detachable Lens Cameras
- Drones
- Drugs
- Fireworks or other explosives
- Marijuana and marijuana products
- Outside food or beverage
- Guns, knives, or other weapons
- Glass water bottles

How do I get between the venues?
We strongly encourage walking and biking between the venues. The longest distance between two venues is just over 1/2 mile (about a 13 minute walk).
We will also have circulator shuttles provided by Via Mobility Services that can move people between venues during the event; however, those will have limited capacity and could be full if a large band just finished up. The shuttle route takes about 15 minutes to do a full loop. The shuttles are free for anyone to ride (even if you don’t have a wristband!). Look for the Lafayette Music Fest Courtesy Shuttle signage on the side.
Can I volunteer?
Absolutely! You can sign up for a time slot on the volunteer signup link above. Time slots are mostly 3-hours, but there are a few 2-hour slots. Volunteers will receive a FREE festival wristband for EACH time slot that they sign up for.
Volunteers will check in at The Arts Hub at any time of the day (but before their volunteer time slot) to receive their wristband(s) and get details of their volunteer duties.
Can I bring my pet dog/cat/mongoose?
How do I say this eloquently……no. Sorry, no pets allowed in the venues!
What about outside alcohol?
Negative, ghost rider. No outside alcohol allowed. Same goes for illegal drugs.
Is the event rain or shine?
Yes, the event is rain or shine, and all ticketed venues are indoors.
Is the event ADA accessible?
All of the venues are fully accessible. Additionally, the circulator shuttle will be able to handle wheelchairs.
